In 1939, the Soviets were coming. The Glazewskis buried everything and ran. Fifty years later, the father sat down to draw the location from memory. His son kept that map for another thirty years. Then he went back with a metal detector. What came out of the ground was more than silver.

They were supposed to be dead for over 6,000 years. But deep in New Guinea's rainforests, scientists just found two marsupials that fossils said went extinct before the pyramids were built. Or that worms are eating them from the inside. That their bones are crumbling. Some stop eating — why would a corpse need food? Logic doesn't reach them and it's hard than you would imagine to prove to someone they're alive.
